How to organize your Trip?
Based on my experiences i'd like to share about to-do-list before you go for some trip i.e. :
1. Make rough itinerary
When will you departure and arrive?which transportation you use?how long?which places you want to visit?etc.
2. Always see the promo package
For example of the promo package that i know are :
- weekend ticket (Schönes-Wochenende Ticket) of DB (train company of Germany) only 37 euro for 5 people for whole day (24 hours), including S-Bahn too
- Kruidvat's weekend ticket for NS (train company of Netherland)only 12 euro per person for whole day (sales only for particular time)
- Mycitydeal Dag kaart from : http://www.groupon.nl/deals/enschede/treindagkaart-voor-2-personen/18246 for NS (train company of Netherland)only 19.95 euro for 2 person for whole day, that valid from June 3 to June 13, 2010 on weekdays after 9 am on weekends and all day (sales only for particular time)
3. Considering of low or peak season
If you want to do some cheap trip, you can considering to have a trip during low season. In Europe, low season is from mid or late November through Easter (except for Christmas week)is low season in most places. But, you must keep in mind that it can get bitterly cold. But, in South East Asia, the low season is almost a whole year except November to February.
4. Choose the place where you want to stay
If you have a plan to backpacker and spend the night in hostel you can visit : http://www.hostelbookers.com/. It's the best website which have the complete information about hostel all over the world, including the price, review, photo and direction with Google map to guide us how to reach the hostel. Moreover, if you want to book the hotel, you can visit : http://www.agoda.com/. It's the website that i used to booked the hotel for my honeymoon in Phuket and Krabi, Thailand with affordable price and also they offer bonus for every booked that we had.
5. Choose the transportation
In Europe, i think the best transportation is train, because it's quite cheap and comfortable, since Europe is the continental area. You can use national train, but also you can use continental train http://www.eurolines.nl/. Besides that, you can also use the cheap airlines like Ryan Air. In Asia, you can use the famous Air Asia, Value Air or Jet Star.
